1978 Division II College World Series

The 1978 Division II College World Series was held at Lanphier Park in Springfield, IL. The eight schools qualified by winning one of eight regional tournaments. The tournament was won by Florida Southern College, coached by Joe Arnold. The runner-up was Delta St.. Delta St. third baseman Ricky Perkins was named the series Most Outstanding Player.
