Joe Arnold

Biographical Information[edit]
Joe Arnold was the head coach at Florida Southern College from 1977 to 1983 and the University of Florida from 1984 to 1994. He led he Moccasins to the Division-II title in 1978 and 1981, and the Gators to the College World Series in 1988 and 1991. As a player, he was 29-4 and a two-time junior college All-American; he was MVP of the 1966 Junior College World Series and set a record with 30 2/3 IP. He twas then 11-1 at ASU in 1967.
Arnold managed the Oneonta Yankees in 1997-1998 and the Staten Island Yankees in 1999-2000. He was named to the College Baseball Hall of Fame in 2015.
