2002 Division II College World Series
The 2002 Division II College World Series was held at Paterson Field in Montgomery, AL. The eight schools qualified by winning one of eight regional tournaments. The tournament was won by Columbus State University, coached by Greg Appleton. The runner-up was the Cal State Chico. Columbus St. pitcher Brian Baker was named the series Most Outstanding Player.
