1998 Division II College World Series

The 1998 Division II College World Series was held at Paterson Field in Montgomery, AL. The eight schools qualified by winning one of eight regional tournaments. The tournament was won by University of Tampa, coached by Terry Rupp. The runner-up was the Kennesaw State University. Tampa shortstop Ronnie Merrill was named the series Most Outstanding Player.
