1983 Division II College World Series
The 1983 Division II College World Series was held at the Riverside Sports Center in Riverside, CA. The six schools qualified by winning one of six regional tournaments. The tournament was won by Cal Poly Pomona, coached by John Scolinos. The runner-up was the Jacksonville State University. Cal Poly Pomona outfielder Larry Beardman was named the series Most Outstanding Player.
