2009 Division II College World Series

The 2009 Division II College World Series was the first to be held in Cary, NC, at the training center for Team USA. The eight schools qualified by winning one of eight regional tournaments. The tournament was won by Lynn University, coached by Rudy Garbalosa. The runner ups were Emporia State University. The Most Outstanding Player was Lynn pitcher Tommy Kahnle.
