2011 Rising Stars Game
The 2011 Rising Stars Game was the sixth Arizona Fall League All-Star Game. It pitted the East Division against the West Division. It was played on November 5 at Surprise Stadium.
Result[edit]
The West beat the East 11 to 2, collecting 16 hits total. Nick Franklin (4 for 5, 2 2B, 1 HR, 3 R, 4 RBI), Wil Myers (3 for 5, 1 2B, 1 R, 2 RBI) and Joey Terdoslavich (3 for 3, 1 2B, 1 HR, 2 R, 3 RBI) were some of the West's best performances. Brian Dozier hit a home run for the East. Gerrit Cole and Charles Brewer took the brunt of the damage for the East, with the former allowing five earned runs in 2/3 of an inning and the latter allowing four earned runs in an inning. Cole got the loss; Danny Hultzen earned the win.
