1995 CPBL

The 1995 Chinese Professional Baseball League season was the 6th season for the Chinese Professional Baseball League. The foreign player limit went up from 7 per team last year to ten. Luis de los Santos broke his own hit record, getting 136. The Uni-President Lions won both halves, so no Taiwan Series was held.

Awards[edit]

The CPBL MVP went to Chin-Hsing Kuo, who was 20-7 with a 2.31 ERA for the Lions, leading in wins and placing third in ERA. The Rookie of the Year was not given out, the only time that has happened (through 2022) since the award was established.
