The 2007 Chinese Professional Baseball League season saw several offensive records being set.

The Macoto Cobras had a strong first half, winning the title, but finished last in the second half. The La New Bears took the second half. The third playoff team, the Uni-President Lions was led by the pitching of Wei-Lun Pan (A league-high 16 wins and second-place 2.26 ERA) and Peter Munro (14 wins). MVP Kuo-Ching Kao (.358, 20 HR, 89 RBI) led the league in hits while Tilson Brito set new home run (33) and RBI (107) records.

Chin-Feng Chen hit .382 for La News to lead in average; his 26 homers were second-best. Bears hurler Yu-Wei Hsu was 4th in ERA (2.70). The Cobras were led by Chia-Hsien Hsieh (.352, 79 RBI).

The Lions won the first playoff game, thanks to 8 solid innings from Nelson Figueroa in a 9-4 victory over the Cobras. Brito hit a 2-run homer while Lien-hong Chen was 4 for 5. The Lions won game two, 14-0, thanks to a grand slam by Brito and four hits over 7 innings from Munro. The Lions took game 3 13-2 behin fine pitching from Pan and hitting from Kao (3 for 4, 2B, HR, 5 RBI) to advance to the 2007 Taiwan Series.
