2013 CPBL

From BR Bullpen

The 2013 Chinese Professional Baseball League was the 24th CPBL season. There was one new franchise, as the Sinon Bulls became the EDA Rhinos. The Rhinos made an immediate splash, signing Manny Ramirez, the most prominent player to come to Taiwan to that point; he did very well before leaving in late June. The Rhinos did have some very solid performers as Yi-Chuan Lin led in average and homers and was second in RBI, Andy Sisco led in ERA and Chen-Hua Lin led in wins. They suffered a major loss when manager Sheng-Ming Hsu had a heart attack, going 13-20 after his death after a 49-37-1 start. The Rhinos dropped the 2013 Taiwan Series to the Uni-President Lions in a sweep.
