1985 American Association season

The 1985 American Association season was the 78th in the league's history, and ended with the Louisville Redbirds winning their second straight league championship.
The league went back to a two-division setup this year and a single best-of-seven championship series.
This was the first year for both the Nashville Sounds and Buffalo Bisons.
