The Vermont Expos were a Montreal Expos farm club in the New York-Penn League. They were the last team to keep the "Expos" name after the Montreal club became the Washington Nationals. They had wanted to keep the name longer but were forced to change names by Major League Baseball. After the 2005 season, they became the Vermont Lake Monsters.
