Biographical Information[edit]
Jeff Schwarz pitched for the 1993 and 1994 Chicago White Sox and the California Angels, also in 1994. He had a career record of 2-2 and an ERA of 4.17. He appeared only as a reliever but did not record a save. He gave up only one home run in his career in 69 innings. Unfortunately, it was a game-winning home run by Lou Whitaker of the Detroit Tigers on June 8, 1993. He was very wild throughout his career, walking 60 in 69 innings.
Schwarz was the pitching coach for the Vermont Expos in 2001, the Albuquerque Isotopes in 2004-2005 [1][2], and the GCL Marlins in 2009-2012. He then became the minor league pitching coordinator for the Florida Marlins.
