Biographical Information[edit]
Kevin Higgins played first base for California State-Northridge in 1975, then transferred to California State University, Sacramento.
Higgins held positions in the New York Yankees, San Francisco Giants, and Montreal Expos organizations and managed the Vermont Expos in 1996 and 1997.
Higgins was baseball coach at American River College in California. He then was the manager of the Burlington Indians of the Appalachian League in 2006. In 2007, he was a coach for the Mahoning Valley Scrappers.
In 2009, Kevin coached for the Alaska Goldpanners of Fairbanks in the Alaska Baseball League.
His minor league managerial record is wrongly attributed to former major leaguer Kevin Higgins on Baseball-Reference and in other sources.
