Biographical Information[edit]
Kevin Higgins was one of two players who played all nine positions on August 25, 1994 for the Pacific Coast League's Las Vegas Stars in a game against the Tacoma Tigers. Teammate Keith Lockhart accomplished the same feat in the same game.
In his single season in the majors, he was mainly a catcher, but did play five different other positions in only 71 games.
Higgins was an assistant coach at College of Southern Nevada in 2010 before moving to University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2011.
His Baseball-Reference page has him as a minor league manager for three seasons, but that is a wrong attribution as the manager was his namesake, Kevin Higgins.
