Burlington (NC) Indians

The Burlington Indians were a Cleveland Indians affiliate in the Appalachian League. They played their home games at Burlington Athletic Park in Burlington, North Carolina. After the 2006 season, they became a Kansas City Royals affiliate known as the Burlington Royals.

Among the notable Burlington Indians of the Carolina League were Luis Tiant, Mel Stottlemyre, Doc Edwards, Tommy Agee, and Richie Scheinblum. Manny Ramirez was an Indian in the Appalachian League in 1991.
