Biographical Information[edit]
Sean McNally hit .305 with 7 HR and 41 RBI at Duke University in 1992, .309, 5, 50 in 1993 and .402, 15, 71 in 1994 and was selected in the 16th round of the 1994 amateur draft by the Kansas City Royals. McNally played 9 years in the minors as a third baseman and first baseman, reaching AAA in 2000-2001.
McNally was the hitting coach for the Burlington (NC) Indians in 2003 and the Akron Aeros in 2004. He returned to Burlington as manager in 2005 but left in July to take the head coaching job at his alma mater at Duke University.
