Biographical Information[edit]
Mike Bucci was a minor league player whose career ran from 1975-1983. He hit .300 in 1977 and 1978, with a .331 mark with the AAA Tucson Toros the latter season, but never made the majors. He did not hit many home runs but showed some speed on the bases in addition to his contact hitting. On January 4, 1980 Bucci was traded by the Texas Rangers with Larry McCall and Gary Gray to the Cleveland Indians for Jim Norris.
After retiring as a player, he coached for the Wausau Timbers in 1982, Chattanooga Lookouts in 1983, and Buffalo Bisons in 1987 and managed several years in the minors for the Indians and Rangers.
