Category talk:College Football Hall of Fame

From BR Bullpen

Should we have categories for College Basketball HoF and Pro Football HoF? We have enough people who are in the latter - Red Badgro, Sammy Baugh, Paddy Driscoll, George Halas, Ernie Nevers, Ace Parker, Jim Thorpe, John Elway, Joe Guyon, Cal Hubbard, Don Hutson, Dan Marino, Greasy Neale, Deion Sanders, Ken Strong, Hank Stram, maybe more - --Mischa 12:56, 6 April 2011 (EDT)

Walter French also. - --Mischa 13:24, 6 April 2011 (EDT) And Dermonti Dawson and Emlen Tunnell and Ray Guy; isn't that enough to warrant it? And Jerome Bettis

In basketball (either college or pro), we have Dick Groat, Sam Barry, Amos Alonzo Stagg, Tony Hinkle, Jerry Colangelo, Bill Sharman, Fats Jenkins, Ed Gottlieb, Larry Bird, George Fiall, Bill Yancey, Jim Enright, Benny Borgmann, Michael Jordan, Abe Saperstein, Jack Ramsay and Goose Tatum at least. - --Mischa 13:24, 6 April 2011 (EDT)

Also Slats Gill, Fred Taylor, George Keogan, Eddie Einhorn and John Wooden, Harry Gallatin (both college and pro)

Add Ray Guy to the Pro Football Hall of Fame discussion. He referenced his baseball playing in his HOF speech. --Jeff (talk) 10:58, 22 August 2014 (EDT)

And Ken Stabler - --Mischa (talk) 23:28, 30 May 2018 (UTC)
