Biographical Information

Pro football hall-of-famer Emlen Tunnell played 5 games for the Cedar Rapids Rockets in 1949, getting five hits in 18 trips to the plate and committing one error in played left field and center field. In football, he was a nine-time Pro Bowler who retired as the all-time leader with 79 interceptions (falling to 2nd all-time through 2011) and also was a kick return man.
