Biographical Information

Jack Ramsay was head baseball coach at Saint Joseph's University from 1956-1958. He was more notable as a basketball coach, first at Saint Joseph's then in the NBA (864-783 from 1968-1989). He guided the Portland Trail Blazers to a NBA title in 1976-1977. He later was a basketball announcer. He was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame.
