Team History

The Criollos de Caguas (Creoles) were a founding member of the Puerto Rican League in 1938. They have won 20 league titles, more than any other team. They have also won the Caribbean Series five times - 1954, 1974, 1987, 2017 and 2018.

Notable Criollos players have included Luis Olmo, Roy Campanella, Bill Byrd, Hank Aaron, Vic Power, Roberto Clemente, Juan Gonzalez, José Cruz, Sr., Ed Figueroa, Felix Mantilla, Carmelo Martinez, Félix Millán, Héctor Cruz, Jerry Morales, Jose Pagan, Juan Pizarro, Sixto Lezcano, Alexis Ríos, Ivan Rodriguez, Tommy Davis, Ferguson Jenkins, Tom Lasorda, Sandy Koufax, Earl Wilson, Gary Carter, Mike Schmidt, Cal Ripken Jr., Eddie Murray, Don Mattingly, Raúl Casanova, Roberto Alomar and Willie Montanez.
