The RA12 are a Puerto Rican League team owned by Hall of Famer Roberto Alomar. They debuted in 2020-21 under manager Andy Gonzalez and finished in last place with a record of 2-16. The name refers to Alomar's initials and uniform number.

The team was created to give young professional Puerto Rican players a chance to play against more experienced professionals; their players are equivalent to Rookie-class professionals, whereas most other winter league teams include current or former major leaguers, hence its poor on-field results over its first few seasons. However, winnincg championships is not the main purpose of the project: it is to reinforce the overall baseball structure in Puerto Rico, helping to close the gap between a youth system that has improved markedly over the past decade, and a professional system that is dominated by players under contract to major league teams.
