Biographical Information[edit]

In addition to his minor league managing, Ed Romero has been the minor league infield coordinator for the San Diego Padres (1991), Milwaukee Brewers (1997, 1999-2000, 2003), and Florida Marlins (2005-2007). Romero was a coach for the Houston Astros in 2008-2009, then returned to managing with the Greeneville Astros in 2010.

Edgardo played for the Mayagüez Indians and the Ponce Lions of the Puerto Rican Winter Baseball League.

His son Eddie Romero has been a scout.
