1990 American Association season
The 1990 American Association season was the 83rd in the league's history, and ended with the Omaha Royals winning their first championship since 1978. The Royals would go on to win the Triple-A Classic over the IL's Rochester Red Wings.
Buffalo and Nashville finished the season tied, so a one-game playoff took place September 3 in Buffalo, NY for the East Division title. Nashville won 9-8 in 18 innings, and this result is reflected in the standings below.
