1990 Triple-A Classic
The 1990 Triple-A Classic was the 53rd meeting between the champions of the American Association and International League in a postseason series. The Omaha Royals won their first American Association title since 1978, while the Rochester Red Wings won the International League's Governors' Cup for the second time in three years.
The Royals became the third AA team to win the series, while the Red Wings again took the first game but lost the series, as they did in 1988.
