Biographical Information[edit]

Dorn Taylor made the hardest of jumps, from undrafted free agent signee to the major leagues. Dorn started off his professional career by leading the South Atlantic League in ERA with a mark of 2.30 in 1982. When Dorn attended Pfeiffer, it was still a college, not a university.

He pitched three seasons in the majors and nine in the minors.
