As of 2023, Bob Forsch is the alumni from Oregon State University with the most major league wins and strikeouts, while his brother Ken Forsch has the most saves. Jacoby Ellsbury is the alumni with the most at-bats, RBI and stolen bases—he tops the list in multiple categories. Michael Conforto has the most home runs.

After winning the 2006 College World Series and 2007 College World Series, the Beavers failed to make the 64-team bracket preceding the 2008 College World Series. They won their third title in the 2018 College World Series.
