Biographical Information[edit]

Ralph Coleman was the baseball coach at Oregon State University for 35 years (1923-1928, 1930-1931, 1938-1966), leading the Beavers to the College World Series in 1952. He compiled a 561-316-1 record at OSU.

Coleman had previously pitched in the Pacific Coast League for the Portland Beavers (1921-1922, 1925) and Oakland Oaks (1926).

Coleman's brother Ed Coleman played outfield in the majors from 1932 to 1936 [1].
