2022 CWS Super Regionals
The field of 64 teams in the 2022 NCAA Division I Baseball Championship was broken down into 16 four-team Regionals, played at the home site of the #1 seed. The top team in each bracket advanced to the Super Regionals, a best-of-three series, played between June 10 and June 13. The eight winners of the Super Regionals advanced to the 2022 College World Series.
Knoxville Super Regional[edit]
The Knoxville Super Regional features the #1 seed from the Knoxville Regional - University of Tennessee vs. the #2 seed from the Statesboro Regional - University of Notre Dame.

- In game 1, Tennessee CF Drew Gilbert and pitching coach Frank Anderson were ejected in the 5th inning after arguing with the home plate umpire. Gilbert was suspended for game 2, Anderson was suspended for 3 games, due to also being ejected from a game earlier in the season.
- In game 2, Evan Russell hits his 39th career home run breaking the school record held by Todd Helton.
Greenville Super Regional[edit]
The Greenville Super Regional features the #1 seed from the Austin Regional - University of Texas at Austin vs. the #1 seed from the Greenville Regional - East Carolina University.

- In game 1, Stanford scores 6 runs on 4 homers in the bottom of the 9th and has the tying run on base, but the rally falls short as Connecticut strikes out the side.
