2017 CWS Regionals

The field of 64 teams in the 2017 NCAA Division I Baseball Championship is broken down into 16 four-team Regionals, played at the home site of the #1 seed from each bracket beginning June 1 or June 2. The Regionals are a double-elimination format. The top team in each bracket advances to the Super Regionals, a best of three series. The Regionals are grouped together in pairs for the Super Regionals.

The National seeds are 1. Oregon State; 2. North Carolina; 3. Florida; 4. LSU; 5. Texas Tech; 6. TCU; 7. Louisville; 8. Stanford.

Florida Gulf Coast and Davidson make their first appearances in the tournament.

The University of Miami missed the field, breaking its record streak at 44 straight years. Florida State extended its streak to 40 consecutive years, 2nd all time. FSU would have its streak broken in 2023, also at 44 years.
