The South Korea national baseball team is a national team of South Korea and is controlled by the Korea Baseball Association. It represents the nation in senior-level men's international competition. The team is a member of the BFA. South Korea won the Gold at the 2008 Olympics behind the hurling of youngsters Kwang-hyun Kim and Hyun-jin Ryu and the clutch power hitting of Seung-yeop Lee. They won five of the first seven Asian Games where baseball was a medal event and won the 1982 Amateur World Series as well.
