Biographical Information

Seong-ro Joo managed the South Korea national baseball team in the 1998 Asian Games (Gold), 1998 Baseball World Cup (Silver), 1999 Asian Championship (Gold), 1999 Intercontinental Cup, 2002 Intercontinental Cup (Silver), 2004 World University Championship (Bronze), 2008 Women's Baseball World Cup and 2010 Women's Baseball World Cup; he coached them in the 1984 Amateur World Series, 1990 Baseball World Cup, 1990 Asian Games, 1991 Intercontinental Cup, 1995 Intercontinental Cup, 2000 Olympics (Silver) and 2002 Asian Games. He also coached Busan High School, Kyungsung University and Whimoon High School, and he became the coach of Inha University from 1986 to 2005.
