The Thailand national baseball team is a national team of Thailand and is controlled by the The Amateur Baseball Association of Thailand. It represents the nation in senior-level men's international competition. The team is a member of the BFA. The Thai team was a surprise entry in the 2007 Baseball World Cup, replacing the Chinese national team when it withdrew a month before the event. In 2007 the Thailand national baseball team won the Southeast Asian Games and they looked to repeat in November of 2011 in Indonesia. The Thailand national team competed in the World Baseball Classic Qualifiers in the fall of 2012. Chinese Taipei, New Zealand, the Philippines, and Thailand will compete for the last remaining spot in the Asian Bracket of the World Baseball Classic against Japan, South Korea, and China. Thailand was also ranked number 5 in all of the Asian countries behind Korea, Japan, Chinese Taipei, and China (by the IBAF rankings). From 2013-2016, they did not compete in any major tournaments (Southeast Asian Games, Asian Games, Asian Championship, World Baseball Classic Qualifiers).
