2013 East Asian Games

The 2013 East Asian Games were the sixth East Asian Games, but the first to feature baseball. They were held in Tianjin, China.

Host Flag of People's Republic of China People's Republic of China finished 4-2 in the round-robin and outscored opponents 54-19 but lost the Bronze Medal game, 4-0, to Taiwan, who they had topped in the round-robin.

Flag of Guam Guam was 2-4, with 39 runs scored and 63 allowed, to finish 5th.

Flag of Hong Kong Hong Kong placed 6th at 1-5, outscored 75-24.

Flag of Japan Japan won the gold, going 5-1 with 76 runs to 14 allowed in the round-robin, their lone loss coming to Taiwan. They then beat South Korea 4-2 in the Gold Medal game.

Flag of Mongolia Mongolia lost all six games, by a total margin of 150-1.

Flag of South Korea South Korea went 5-1 in the round-robin, with a 82-12 run differential, but lost the Gold Medal game to Japan.

Flag of Chinese Taipei Chinese Taipei was 4-2 in the round-robin, with 66 runs scored and only 9 allowed, with an odd combo of beating #1 Japan and losing to #4 China.
