In 2017, they switched affiliations to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Their home ballpark is Hank Aaron Stadium. The BayBears won the Southern League title in 1998. They were co-champs in 2004, and league champions again in 2011 and 2012.
The team moved to Madison, AL following the 2019 season and was renamed the Rocket City Trash Pandas.
