Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Jeff Pico was signed as a 13th round pick in the 1984 amateur draft by the Chicago Cubs and scout Tom Davis. He threw a complete game shutout in first major league start against the Cincinnati Reds on May 31, 1988.
Pico was the pitching coach of the Cincinnati Reds in 2014 and 2015. In 2019, he was named bullpen coach of the Detroit Tigers and stayed until the end of the 2020 season.
He wore number 41 with the Cubs.
