Atlantic Coast League
The Atlantic Coast League was a four-team independent league in the southeastern USA that opened in 1995 and closed the same June after teams had played 15-17 games. Adam Butler is the only future big leaguer to have played in the circuit.

New league[edit]
A new league with the name Atlantic Coast League for Professional Baseball was set to begin play in either 2009 or 2010, but it does not appear to have done so. Its president was Michael Harden. [1]
