The 2020 All-Star Game had been scheduled to be played on Tuesday, July 14 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, CA but was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Postseason

The 2020 National League playoffs featured the champions of the league's three divisions along with the second-place team in each division and two wild card teams. The teams competed in a best-of-three Wild Card Series, a best-of-five Division Series, and a best-of-seven League Championship Series. The winner of the League Championship Series represented the league in the World Series.

Award winners

The winner of the league's Most Valuable Player Award, given its Most Valuable Player, was 1B Freddie Freeman of the Atlanta Braves. In the award's voting, he had 410 out of a possible 420 points and 28 of 30 first-place votes.

The winner of the league's Cy Young Award, given its best pitcher, was Trevor Bauer of the Cincinnati Reds. In the award's voting, he had 201 out of a possible 210 points and 27 of 30 first-place votes.

The winner of the league's Rookie of the Year Award, given its best rookie player, was Devin Williams, a relief pitcher with the Milwaukee Brewers. In the award's voting, he had 95 out of a possible 150 points and 14 of 30 first-place votes.
