1999 Division III Regionals

The field of 40 teams in the 1999 Division III Baseball Championship is broken down into 4 6-team Brackets and 4 4-team Brackets. The Regional round is a double elimination format. The top team in each bracket advances to the 1999 Division III College World Series.

New England Region

Mid-Atlantic Region

• The Mid-Atlantic regional tournament was an all wood bat affair. The NJAC used wood bats during the regular season. When approached, Ursinus and Widener, the 2 non-NJAC schools in the tournament, agred to use wood bats during the regional tournament.
• Rains washed out the championship game(s) and William Paterson was awarded the trip to the CWS.
