The 1993 Caribbean Series (Serie del Caribe) was the twenty-third edition of the second stage of the Caribbean Series. It was held in Mazatlán, México from February 4 to February 9. It was the second straight Series located in México in an attempt to keep attendance high following the success of the 1992 Caribbean Series. The series featured four teams from the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Venezuela. The Cangrejeros de Santurce of the Puerto Rican League won the series and were managed by Mako Oliveras. The Most Valuable Player was Héctor Villanueva, a first baseman with the Cangrejeros de Santurce.

The series's final game of the round-robin stage was delayed due to scheduling issues. When the decision went back and forth as to when the Águilas del Zulia would meet the Venados de Mazatlán in the last round-robin game, Zulia officials left the stadium. Mazatlán's Fernando Valenzuela was scheduled to pitch and the 12,000 fans were eager to see the Mexican hero and disappointed when the game was cancelled and forfeited to the Venados.

When the Cangrejeros de Santurce and Águilas Cibaeñas were tied at the end of the round-robin, 4-2, an extra contest was played. In the match, the Cangrejeros got revenge for two round-robin losses to the Dominican entry. Santurce banged out 18 hits in a 9-5 win, with SS Dickie Thon and OF Eric Fox each having three hits. Kevin Brown got the victory with 5 1/3 scoreless relief innings and Thon's 2-run blast in the sixth won it. Thon had been on the champion team in the 1983 Caribbean Series as well.

Santurce was led by MVP 1B Hector Villanueva (.500, .889 SLG, 9 RBI), C Junior Ortiz (.375, .500 SLG), Mike Cook (2-0, 0 R in 11 IP), Darryl Scott (Sv, 10 K, 2 H, 0 BB, 0 ER in 5 IP) and Willie Fraser (0-1, 0.90) in addition to Thon, Fox and Brown.

The Águilas were led by Andujar Cedeno (.381), Tony Pena (.300), Moises Alou (.273), Jose Martinez (1-0, 0.77) and Dave Johnson (1-0, 1.29).

Zulia's offense was powered by Scott Bryant (.368, .579 SLG) and included Henrique Gomez (1-0, 1.00), Jason Grimsley (1.13) and Urbano Lugo (1-0, 1.13).

Mazatlan got some pop from Matias Carrillo (.200, .600 SLG) and pitching from Mike Garcia (0 H in 5 IP) and Earnie Johnson (0 R in 8 IP).
