1970 Caribbean Series
The 1970 Caribbean Series (Serie del Caribe) was the first edition of the second stage of the Caribbean Series. It was held in Caracas, Venezuela from February 5 to February 10. The series featured three teams from Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and Venezuela. The Navegantes del Magallanes of the Venezuelan League won the series and were managed by Carlos Pascual. The Most Valuable Player was Gonzalo Márquez a first baseman with the Navegantes del Magallanes.
