Our notability criteria don't really discuss the European leagues much. Most of our Division Elite player bios are for French national team members or guys who have also played in the minors (like Hanvi). I don't think lower French league players should have pages, at least until we do a more thorough job on Division Elite. Our notability rules keep expanding out. A couple pointers on the French bios:

  • Please add {{DEFAULTSORT:Peron,Flavien}} or {{DEFAULTSORT:Cros,Gregory}} or such at the bottom of each new bio, right ahead of the Category section. This ensures that they will be filed under "P" or "C" respectively instead of under "F" or "G"; that is, players should be filed under their last name and the DEFAULTSORT ensures that this will happen.
  • You can find 2007 and 2008 Division Elite stats on the French baseball federation site:

2007 2008 - I wish stats for the Korea Baseball Organization were so easy to find (to be fair to the KBO, they do a good job on offense and pitching but their defensive stat info is basically non-existant)

The Jose Nunez bio doesn't match any existing player and it's probably resume inflation. Let's start with the fact that it claims he was drafted in 1996 and no Jose Nunez was picked by the Mets that year - see this link. This Jose Nunez is the only one who started off with the Mets in '96 but he never made it out of rookie ball, let alone to the majors. - --Mischa 10:12, 10 February 2009 (EST)

Larry Lester is co-chair of SABR's Negro League Committee and CEO of NoirTech, the company that has copyright control of the photo. He's a friend of mine and was happy to allow its use.
