Luis Polonia

Support Polonia was an interesting player and one of the greatest winter ball stars ever, with a long and varied career. The article is fairly comprehensive. It's surprising we've had no featured Dominican players yet. - --Mischa 12:47, 6 August 2012 (EDT)

Support I did not realize how long and productive his career had been ! --Philippe 14:06, 7 August 2012 (EDT)

Support As an Angels fan, those early 90's teams were boring, but at least we had Luis to lead the league for us! .... in caught stealing... 3 times. --Jeff 23:03, 7 August 2012 (EDT)

I guess one positive about the Pirates of recent years is that they haven't been boring. They lose a lot, but at least you've had guys like Jason Bay, Andrew McCutchen and Tony Womack to keep things lively. And they don't get arrested nearly as much as the Steelers, Panthers or Penn State football guys - --Mischa 10:47, 8 August 2012 (EDT)

Oh, Penn State, that's a low blow man...Oaktree_b

Support Love the nickname, "The Atomic Ant", although I've never heard of him otherwise, sounds interesting. Wonder how he got that name; at 5'8" he's not "ant-sized" ? Oaktree_b 00:37, 8 August 2012 (EDT)

I expect the nickname comes from the old Atom Ant [1] cartoon. --Philippe 06:26, 10 August 2012 (EDT)
