Juan Lozano has been on the Philippines national team.
Lozano represented the Philippines in the 2017 Asian Championship, and he hit .333/.556/.833, with a 2-run homer against Chun-Chieh Wu of Chinese Taipei. [1] He went 3-for-16, with a homer against Phanuwat Sukmuang of Thailand, for his nation in the 2018 East Asian Baseball Cup. [2] He remained with them for the 2019 Southeast Asian Games, helping them win Gold. [3] Lozano remained with them for the 2019 Asian Championship. He was 1-for-3 in his debut against South Korea with a homer from Jin-su Kim. He then went 3-for-5 with a triple against Hong Kong, and he was 1-for-5 with 2 RBI against Sri Lanka. For the event, he hit .400/.429/.800 with 7 runs and 6 RBI in 5 games, going 3-for-4 in steal attempts. He tied Kazuya Shimokawa for the run lead, tied for 4th in hits (8), tied for 4th in doubles (2), tied for second in triples (2, one behind Tatsuhiko Satoh), tied for second in homers (one, behind Jin Yang's 2), tied Jonash Ponce and Sameera Rathnayake for second in swipes (one behind teammate Erwin Bosito) and led in putouts (35, 3 ahead of Tae-seong Choe). He was named the All-Star first baseman, joining Jennald Pareja as Filipinos to be so honored in the event. [4]
