2019 Southeast Asian Games

The 2019 Southeast Asian Games were the 4th Southeast Asian Games to feature baseball. The baseball portion ran from December 2 to December 8, 2019 in Manila.

December 2

•  Indonesia 14,  Singapore 7
•  Philippines 3,  Thailand 2. John Daru singled in Oliver Dunn in the 1st to put Thailand ahead but the defending Gold Medalists came back when Jerome Yenson doubled in Mark Manaig and Ferdinand Liguayan Jr. Miguel Salud escaped danger in the 9th, saving it for Francis Gesmundo.

December 3

•  Thailand 12,  Singapore 7
•  Philippines 12,  Cambodia 0. Vladimir Eguia struck out all nine batters he faced in a great start in a day plagued by rain; the bullpen finished off a 8-inning mercy rule shutout. Adriane Ros Bernardo had five hits and Erwin Bosito stole five bases.

December 4

•  Indonesia 8,  Cambodia 1
•  Philippines 17,  Singapore 0. Romeo Jasmin Jr. threw a mercy rule-shortened four-inning shutout while the Filipinos swipe 11 bases.

December 6

•  Thailand 14,  Cambodia 1
•  Philippines 14,  Indonesia 1. The Philippines locks up a spot in the Gold Medal Game.

December 7

•  Singapore 9,  Cambodia 1. Singapore wins its first game in a Southeast Asian Games, beating Cambodia to advance to the Bronze Medal Game.
•  Thailand 6,  Indonesia 4. Thailand moved on to the Gold Medal Game by edging Indonesia.

December 8

•  Philippines 15,  Thailand 2. The rematch of the opener, with a Gold Medal at stake, was not nearly as close. Jonash Ponce raps three hits to lead the offense.
•  Indonesia 10,  Singapore 4. Indonesia won its third Bronze in four Southeast Asian Games.
