Biographical Information[edit]
Jennald Pareja was the second baseman for the Philippines national team in the 2013 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers. He went 0 for 7 at the plate and made one error in the field, showing better glovework than SS Ryan Pineda and 1B Leighton Pangilinan, both US minor leaguers. In the 2017 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers, he got into one game, pinch-running for Joshua Wong in the 8th inning of a loss to New Zealand and not batting; at least he played, which was more than most of the actual Filipinos on the team as Filipino-Americans dominated the team.
