Biographical Information[edit]
Jin Yang has played in the China Baseball League and in the independent leagues.
Yang was with the Shanghai Golden Eagles in the CBL. In 2018, he was sent to the US to play for the Texas AirHogs as part of an agreement between the AirHogs and Chinese baseball. He split short with Casio Grider and hit .220/.241/.255 in 40 games, drawing only 4 walks. The teenager fielded well at short, .987. He then left the AirHogs along with many of his teammates (as arranged) to play for the Chinese national team at the 2018 Asian Games. He returned to the AirHogs for 2019, hitting .230/.258/.275 in 80 games.
