Sharabi was All-League DH and P in high school, going 6-1 with a 2.48 ERA as a senior. He was 1-0 with a 3.18 ERA as a junior college freshman and only worked five innings as a sophomore. His junior year, he transferred to San Jose State and was 0-1 with two earned runs in 4 2/3 IP. [1] He turned pro in 2016 with the Great Bend Boom, going 5-3 with a 4.60 ERA, tying for 8th in the Pecos League in wins. In '17, he was a strong reliever for the Sonoma Stompers at 5-3, 2.29 with one save and 49 K in 39 1/3 IP (though he walked 21). He tied for 7th in the Pacific Association in wins.

With Sonoma in 2018, he was 8-1 with a save and a 2.45 ERA, again striking out over a batter per inning. He was 4th in the league in victories and second to Chris Butcher (40) with 36 games pitched. He allowed one run in five innings for the '19 Stompers and spent most of the year with the Cleburne Railroaders (0-2, Sv, 4.17 in 30 G, 44 K in 41 IP). He showed better control, walking 13 with Cleburne.

He then joined the Israeli squad for the 2019 European Championship, their first European Championship. He closed out their opening 5-1 win over Czechia. Relieving Jonathan de Marte in the 9th, he allowed singles to Petr Zýma and Martin Červinka but struck out Martin Schneider and Matěj Hejma then Martin Červenka lined out to end it. His next game, he relieved Gabe Cramer in the 3rd with a 1-1 tie, the bases loaded and no out against host Germany. He retired Max Boldt, gave up a RBI single to Pascal Amon and got Christoph Ziegler to hit into a twin killing. He retired the next six batters and Zack Weiss relieved with the 2-1 deficit, but Israel would rally to win in extra innings. Finally, he relieved Joey Wagman in the 5th with a 7-0 lead over France with the winner clinching a spot in the 2019 Europe/Africa Olympic Qualifier. He breezed through the 5th, striking out José Paula and Mael Zan sandwiched around a Jacques Boucheron grounder. In the 6th, he retired Daniel Patrice but Felix Brown and Maxime Lefevre singled and advanced on a passed ball. Andy Paz grounded in one run and a throwing error by Nick Rickles let in another run. Weiss replaced him and Israel held on. [2]

In the 2019 Europe/Africa Olympic Qualifier, he relieved Jeremy Bleich with a 7-1 lead in the 7th against the Netherlands. He went 1-2-3 against Hendrik Clementina, Kalian Sams and Sharlon Schoop. In the 8th, he got both Yurendell de Caster and Dwayne Kemp before John Polonius singled but Calten Daal flew out. De Marte relieved him in the 9th. Against Czechia, Israel's lone loss, he got the start given his success against them in the 2019 Euros. He retired Schneider but Hejma homered. He struck out Červenka then Petr Čech and Martin Mužík singled. Sharabi escaped further harm by getting Jakub Malík on a fly. In the 2nd, he retired Daniel Vavruša and Červinka singled. After Sharabi struck out Jakub Hajtmar, Červinka was caught stealing. Bleich took over in the 3rd and would take the loss. [3] Israel moved on to the 2020 Olympics, Israel's first team sports entry in an Olympics since the 1970s.
