The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) is a collegiate athletic conference which consists of historically black colleges in the southeastern United States.

In 1970, the league was confirmed with seven institutions kicking off the 1971 season: Delaware State College (now University), Howard University, University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Morgan State University, North Carolina A&T State University, North Carolina Central University and South Carolina State College (now University).

North Carolina Central University was also a member of the conference from 1970-1979. Florida A&M and Bethune-Cookman left the conference after the 2020-2021 school year. The MEAC sponsored baseball with only 4 team in Spring 2022, then the four schools joined the Northeast Conference for baseball only in 2023 and the MEAC discontinued the sport.
